BHINDI KI BHUJIA
Bhujia is a vegetable preparation ,prepared by cutting thin slices of vegetables and frying them.Bhujia is crispy from outside and tender and soft from inside.Bhindi ki bhujia is a nutritious healthy dish,easy to make and tastes good .Enjoy it with poori and stuffed red chilli pickle.
INGREDIENTS :
- 1/2 Kg Bhindi(okra )
- 2 medium onion sliced
- 1 tablespoon ginger chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon fenugreek seeds(methi)
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 3 tablespoon mustard oil
- 1 green chilli
- salt to taste
METHOD :
- Wash the Bhindis in the 2 to 3 times in the running water
- then put it in the kitchen napkin and dry it up (if you not dry , it become sticky)
- cut the Bhindis into 1/2 inch round pieces.Heat the oil in kadhai or pan
- Add fenugreek seeds,slit green chillies chopped ginger ,when begin to splutter add
- bhindis and saute on low flame
- After 5 minutes add onion and turmeric powder and continue to saute for 5 minutes
- When bhindis become soft and tender add salt and stir for 2 minutes on low heat.Now cover the kadhai with lid and turn of the flame.
Serve hot with poori and stuffed red chilli pickle.Enjoy with family and friends
