Bhujia is a vegetable preparation  ,prepared by cutting thin slices of vegetables and frying them.Bhujia is crispy from outside and tender and soft from inside.Bhindi ki bhujia is a nutritious  healthy dish,easy to make and tastes good .Enjoy it with poori and stuffed red chilli pickle.


  • 1/2 Kg Bhindi(okra )
  • 2 medium onion sliced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon fenugreek seeds(methi)
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 3 tablespoon mustard oil
  • 1 green chilli
  • salt to taste


  • Wash the Bhindis in the  2 to 3 times in the running water
  • then put it in the kitchen napkin and dry it up (if you not dry , it become sticky)
  • cut the Bhindis into 1/2 inch round pieces.Heat the oil in kadhai or pan
  • Add fenugreek seeds,slit green chillies chopped ginger ,when begin to splutter add
  • bhindis and saute on low flame
  • After 5 minutes add onion and turmeric powder and continue to saute for 5 minutes
  • When bhindis become soft and tender add salt and stir for 2 minutes on low heat.Now cover the kadhai with lid and turn of the flame.

Serve hot with poori and stuffed red chilli pickle.Enjoy with family and friends
