MANGO KHEER
Mango Rice Kheer is very delicious dessert.It is perfect for the summer.It is very tasty and creamy and made with mango pulp,basmati rice,milk,cardamom and saffron.Serve chilled to enjoy in summer.
INGREDIENTS ;
- Full cream milk- 1 ltr
- Basmati rice – 2 tablespoon
- Mango puree – 1,1/2 cup
- Saffron – 1/4 teaspoon
- Cardamom powder -1/2 teaspoon
- Sugar(optionai) -2 tablespoon
FOR GARNISH –
- Ripe mango pieces 1/2 cup
- Chopped pistachios and almonds
METHOD :
- Heat the milk in a thick bottomed pan and bring it to boil.
- Now low the flame and add washed basmati rice and cook till basmati rice is fully cooked.
- Add sugar(optional),saffron and cadamom powder and mix well.
- Now turn off the flame and leave the mixture to come to room temperature.
- Once the milk mixture cooled down ,add the mango puree and mix well until combined.Reffrigerate it.
GARNISH WITH MANGO PIECES AND CHOPPED DRY FRUITS.
