DAHI KE SHOLAY

Dahi ke Sholay is a very tasty snack.It is a perfect party starter.It  is made with hung curd and some veggies.It is very crunchy and crispy from outside and creamy from inside.

INGREDIENTS –

  • Hung Curd – 1 cup
  • Fresh Paneer – 2 tablespoon(optional)
  • Carrot medium -1 (finely chopped)
  • Capsicum medium -1(finely chopped)
  • Green chillies -1 tablespoon-finely chopped)
  • Coriander leaves -2 tablespoon
  • Black pepper powder_1 teaspoon(coarsely grounded)
  • Salt to taste
  • White bread slices-8 slices
  • Refind flour- 2 tablespoon
  • Oil for frying

METHOD-

  • In a bowl take hung curd,crushed paneer,green chillies,coriander leaves,pepper powder,salt and mix well.Keep aside.
  • Take two tablespoon of refind flour and make thick slurry.
  • Take the bread slice,cut the edges or brown part of bread slice from all sides.
  • Now take the bread slice,roll them out,apply some water over it.Turn the bread slice upside down,keeping the wet side at the bottom.
  • Place one tablespoon (portion) of yogurt mixture on side of each slice ,brush the edges with slurry and roll into cylinders.
  • Take a polythene sheet,roll the prepared bread roll again using this polythene sheet.Press the edges from both ends with the edges following in opposiite direction from each other.Twists very gently.After 5/7 minutes take it out from the sheet.
  • Heat the oil in a kadhai.Keep it on medium heat.Deep fry the roll till golden brown.Drain out on absorbent paper.( You can Air Fry the roll also)

 

SERVING  STYLE  -Cut the Dahi Bread Roll diognally from the center.Serve with tomato sauce or chutney.
