SUGAR FREE DATES BARFI
Dates Barfi is sugar free low fat healthy sweet dish.Dates are naturally sweet and full of nutrition and by adding nuts makes it more nutrisious.Dates Barfi is rich in protein,iron,fibers and delicious with other nutrition also.It is very simple to make.
INGREDIENTS :
- 250 grams Dates
- 100 grams cashuew nuts
- 100 grams almonds
- 50 grams raisins
- 50 grams pistachios
- 100 grams walnuts
- 5nos figs
- 5 nos prune
- 1 tablespoon green cardamom powder
- 1 tablespoon pure ghee
- METHOD :
- Remove the seeds from the dates ,chop and blend in coarse texture in mixer
- Chop all the dry fruits in coarse texture
- Heat the ghee in a pan and add chopped dry fruits and saute till light golden
- Then add chopped dates and saute till it leaves oil
- Then add cardamom powder and mix well
- Grease little ghee in a deep plate and transfer the mixture into it, press it evenly
- When the mixture cool ,cut into desired shape
