PANEER MAKHANA KORMA
Paneer Makhana Korma is delicious dish .It can be made in different style .Here , this recipe is according to Navratri .
INGREDIENTS :
- 200 grams home made paneer
- 1 cup makhana
- 4 medium tomatoes grated
- 1 cup bottle gourd grated
- 1 tablespoon ginger + green chilli paste
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon green cardamom powder
- rock salt to taste (sendha namak)
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh chopped coriander
METHOD :
- Cut the paneer into 1 inch cubes
- Heat the pan and roast makhanas on medium heat till it become crispy.Keep aside for cooling
- Now in the same pan heat oil and add bottle gourd , saute till little cooked
- Add grated tomatoes and saute for 8-10 minutes.Now add all powdered masalas and saute on low heat till oil saperates
- Add paneer and makhanas and cook 2 to 3 minutes more
- Now add 2 cups of water and rock salt,cover the pan with lid and bring it to boil.Cook on low heat for 5 minutes,turn off the flame.
GARNISH WITH FRESH CORIANDER AND SERVE HOT
