PANEER MAKHANA KORMA

Paneer Makhana Korma is delicious dish .It can be made in different style .Here , this recipe is according to Navratri .

INGREDIENTS :                                                                panner-makhan-korma

  • 200 grams home made paneer
  • 1 cup makhana
  • 4 medium tomatoes grated
  • 1 cup bottle gourd grated
  • 1 tablespoon ginger + green chilli paste
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon green cardamom powder
  • rock salt to taste (sendha namak)
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chopped coriander

METHOD :

  • Cut the paneer into 1 inch cubes
  • Heat the pan and roast makhanas on medium heat till it become crispy.Keep aside for cooling
  • Now in the same pan heat oil and add bottle gourd , saute till little cooked
  • Add grated tomatoes and saute for 8-10 minutes.Now add all powdered masalas and saute on low heat till oil saperates
  • Add paneer and makhanas and cook 2 to 3 minutes more
  • Now add 2 cups of water and rock salt,cover the pan with lid and bring it to boil.Cook on low heat for 5 minutes,turn off the flame.

GARNISH WITH FRESH CORIANDER AND SERVE HOT
