SOOJI PIZZA

Semolina or Sooji is a power grain with amazing health benefits.Sooji Pizza is healthy substitute of normal Pizza.Its taste is equally good .Kids will sure like it.You can add vegetables of  your choice.Try this simple recipe .sujji-pizza-single

INGREDIENTS  :

  • 1 cup sooji (semolina)
  • 1 onion cut into cubes
  • 1 tomato cut into cubes
  • 1 cup bell peppers cut into cubes
  • 2 tablespoon tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chilli sauce
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese
  • 2 tablespoon oregano
  • 1 green chilli chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chopped coriander
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1/2 cup sweet corn
  • 3 cup water

METHOD  :

  • Heat 2 tablespoon olive oil in a pan ,add cumin seeds,green chilli and coriander leaves
  • Then add sooji in it and stir continuously 2 to 3 minutes,now add salt and water to make thick  dough or mixture
  • Transfer this dough or mixture in a greased flat plate and make a base like pizza ,press it gently with the help of spatula(1/2 inch thick) keep aside for cooling
  • Now take sooji pizza base in baking dish and put tomato and chilli sauce over it
  • Place onion ,capsicum ,tomato cubes over pizza base after that grated cheese over it
  • Now bake the sooji pizza for 3 to 4 minutes or till cheese  melts
  • Take out pizza and sprinkle oregano over it ,cut into pieces by pizza cutter

SERVE HOT
