KATHAL KE KABAB

Kathal or jackfruit ke kabab is also a tasty snack .Kathal is also known as vegetarian mutton because it is often cooked in similar way and taste also more and less the same.Once you try this kathal ke kababs you will sure like it.Recipe is very easy ,you would sure love to prepare this kathal ke kababs.

INGREDIENTS  :kathal kabab.jpg

  • kathal 300 grams
  • potato(boiled)1 medium
  • onion chopped 1 medium
  • ginger chopped 1 tablespoon
  • green chillies chopped 1 tablespoon 
  • gram flour (besan) 5 tablespoon
  • coriander leaves 2 tablespoon
  • garam masala powder 1 teaspoon
  • oil for frying
  • salt to taste

    METHOD :

  • Boil the kathal pieces in a pan with 2 cups of water, till the pieces become tender
  • Then drain the excess water and take out the pieces in a bowl and mashed
  • Now in a bowl take mashed kathal ,potato,onion,ginger,chillies,garam masala,gram flour,coriander leaves and salt,mix all the ingredients together by using your hand
  • Now spread the remaining gram flour in a plate.Take equal size portion from kathal mixture according to your desired shape like balls.Roll kathal mixture balls over the gram flour ,so that besan bind the kabab balls properly
  • Heat the oil in a pan and fry kababs in small batches till it become golden brown.Take out in a absorbent paper
  • NOTE  : If you want to avoid deep frying ,then you can shallow fry in non stick pan.It will take little more time but healthy too.
