ALOO BUKHARA CHUTNEY

Aloo Bukhara(Plum) are extremely nutritious with lots of health benefits.They contain many vitamins and minerals.Aloo Bukhara chutney is a light sweet and tangy chutney.Enjoy with any type of paratha,pakoras etc…

INGREDIENTS

  • Plum(aloo bukhara) 250 gm
  • Jaggery 1/2 cup
  • Panch phoran(five spices – mustard,fenugreek,fennel,carom,onion seeds) 1/2 teaspoon
  • Grated coconut(dry) 1 tablespoon
  • Black salt 1/2 teaspoon
  • Kashmiri red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • Pure ghee 1 tablespoon

METHOD –

  • Wash and cut the plums,discarding the seeds
  • Heat the ghee in a pan ,add panch phoran.When it starts spluttering add deseeded plums
  • Cook 7/8 minutes or till it become soft
  • Now add jaggery,simmer for few minutes till jaggery melted and mix well with plums
  • Now add red chilli powder and salt and turn of the flame.

Plum or Aloo Bukhara Ki Chutney is ready
